On behalf of the
UAB MSTP student representatives, we would like to take this opportunity
to welcome visitors to our program. Please take a moment to look through
the student section of the website to see a glimse of the vitality and
camaraderie of the UAB MSTP.
UAB MSTP offers an
extensive variety in research opportunities, while still providing
significant depth within each academic area of interest. With that being
said, we believe UAB MSTP is unparalleled in terms of the research
offered. Our program provides a complete package to train future
physician scientists with exceptional clinical training to balance the
strong research foundation. To get a better idea of what we are talking
about, take a look at our
streaming
video, which shows some of our fellow students speaking about UAB
"off the cuff."
Check us out on
Facebook.
Become a fan of our page and see some of our unedited takes on life at UAB. Feel free to friend
us or join our group "UAB MSTP." Do not hesitate to send an email to
anyone in the program with questions or to find out if what you read on
our website accurately reflects our experiences in the program. Also,
each student has an individual profile to allow each of us to detail our
academic accomplishments as well as what we like to do for fun. We are
confident that if you click on any of our
profiles
and shoot us an email, you will get an informative and honest response
regarding UAB, Birmingham, life as an MSTP student, or a list of the
best restaurants, places to mountain bike, dance clubs, dive bars… you
name it. Or you can post a question on our Facebook discussion board or
on our wall. Either way, our students are committed to ensuring our
visitors have access to all the information they desire!
Most importantly,
we just want to encourage you to find out more about us and the UAB MSTP.
We really believe there isn't a better opportunity to get great medical
and research training while enjoying all other aspects of life!
